Reunion With HIROSHIMA

It was wonderful to see my old friends and former band member from the legendary Jazz Fusion band "HIROSHIMA", Friday night at the "Grooves On The Green" at the Indian Wells Resort!
Great friends, great music, great memories!!!

I'm here with my old friend and fabulous sax palyer/promoter Michael Paulo, of whom I had the privilege of singing on one of his first records many years back, that our mutual friend Brian Simpson was producing. If you get a chance to see him play live, do because it will be a performance to remember!!

Here I'm with the wonderful and talented June Kuramoto, the amazing Koto player and co-founder of HIROSHIMA. She's as incredible of a person as she is a player!! It was truly an honor to work with her and them all!

Here I'm with HIROSHIMA band member's Kimo Cornwell, co-founder Dan Kuramoto, Dean Cortez, Terry Steele, and Danny Yamamoto.

It felt just like a family reunion to see my old band members again. In the mid 90's I had an opportunity of signing with HIROSHIMA to Sony/Epic and debuted as lead vocalist for their "Providence" CD/Album. We toured throughout the U.S. and Hawaii in support of the "Providence record and garnered a "Top 10" spot in the Billboard charts and in R & R for several months and was one of the groups most successful records to date.

If you haven't had the opportunity of hearing "Providence" yet, please do check it out. I think you'll find it to your liking where East meets West, blended with the sultry, emotive vocals infused with the rock, pop and soulful instrumentation.

Love and peace to you and yours ~
